I've been shitting on Punk since he was in AEW. Had some good promos but most were forgettable and his matches were either sloppy or some reference to old wrestling.
He also spent some time just doing irrelevant interviews and shit like that. And when he had a chance of doing something interesting, he got injured twice.

What even makes punk a draw? Isnt his top talent being able to shit on someone or something with pinpoint accuracy and make them look like a chud? Are we gonna get any of this? I dont remember punk being a very good wrestler. Back when he was just getting in wwe the only thinf i remember was his gts being the new move nobody ever saw and thats it.

originally people bought into the "martial arts expert" gimmick he used, then they got sucked in by his worked shoot promos, but he's been exposed as a fraud when it comes to martial arts and worked shoots have been done to death by now, so now people are just falling for the "he's an old school psychology wrestler" bullshit, he's not that either and never was but he's too slow and broken down to pretend he knows martial arts any more

He just doesn't have a purpose in WWE as is. The guy can't try and act rebellious when he has nothing to rebel against after he walked back a decade worth of convictions by re-signing with them. No one needs him going to bat to try and change the landscape of WWE when all his ROH and indie buddies are now main eventers or world champions and that style is now the mainstream. Time passed by CM Punk in WWE during the 10 years he's been gone. Dude either needs to reinvent himself or this shit is going to get old very fast
