Tough to decide a best. No Mercy, Shut Your Mouth, HCTP and WCW NWO Revenge are all top notch but for me,SVR 2007 with the stamina system off is the best imo.
Anything with the 2k tag is total shit. Still better than Fag Forever and its predatory DLC though. KWAB

I don't think anybody hates it, it's just a weaker entry compared to all the others around it. Only thing it has is 8-man matches, but the targeting system isn't good enough for them.

I actually love the image uploader CAW stuff on the modern 2k games and as cringe as the gameplay can be (especially outside of the most basic match types) I don't think wrestling games aged that great overall, I like HCTP and the early SVRs though

between SYM and 06 for me. 06's gm mode leaves some to be desired of course, but it still had decently fast gameplay as opposed to 07. I love SYM's moment to moment gameplay and season mode, it just needed a little bit more side content.

I love raw 2 and being able to do things in between each segment. my former friend and I put massive hours into this game with caw wrestlers as us and custom music. I still play it on occasion and go beat up people as brock lesner in it. pity the system and season mode never got a chance to get more built up and enhanced.

I had this on the dreamcast and it was decent just lacked alot of wrestlers so it repeated people a ton in matches. alot of fun to play with a friend for a bit tho.

It sucks that:

1. All the games in this series were shit.
2. Nobody can take another stab at it because the Fed (and AEW to a lesser extent) now own the licensing rights to a lot of the people you'd want to see.

The bitch of it is that its such a great idea, but its executed badly. All the great stars of yesteryear in all the great classic arena's and venues and having a season mode that has you go from territory to territory before finally wrestling for the world's championship. That description in a nutshell would have me doling out money if that's what to be found in a wrestling game. The idea and the concept is all there and its beautiful; Acclaim's wrestling games just sucked ass, there's no other word for it.
