Why don't they just run smaller venues? Call them elite, exclusive etc.
These empty buildings look embarrassing.

Because it's admittance of failure. Mid 90s WCW and WWF did it at the same time, both took the knee. But with WWE throwing away the tarps at the moment, AEW doesn't want to. Just like WWE wouldn't downsize if AEW was doing 10,000 every week.
