There is nothing intrinsically wrong with crying, but taking a selfie while you are doing it is not okay. I don't see much issue aside from Bullet Club shenanigans and the AEW interference. It's the first year without the pandemic and they've been cooking with the young guys significantly to ascend them and there are quite a number of them. Sanada and Naito has lots of history. Both tag leagues have had stories and tag leagues have been thought of as little more than time wasters in the past.

Also, I think Hiromu can easily be elevated into the main event scene if they really need someone.

Hiromu's got the in ring skills, the charisma and fan connection. What he lacks is the size but that's where Gedo has to protect him. And by that, have him beat heavyweights legitimately rather than "outsmarting" guys like Marufuji was doing in his first heavyweight push.

Just a bit of fantasy booking would be if they really needed to elevate Hiromu, have him immediately win G1 and beat Naito at the dome.

I'm only at Day 10 of the WTL now but:

- I haven't been impressed by the luchadores at all. Atlantis Jr. isn't that good. Soberano is a lot better than what his work would suggest. Zandokan Jr. is not ready to be wrestling at this level.

- I wish they would have put anyone else with Ishii. Ishii basically has to carry every match he's in. There's been multiple matches that would have been better with anyone else in them than Yano.

- Zayne and Lance have been a fun team and may have tried the hardest out of everyone so far.

- There's been way too many styles clashes this tournament that would require herculean efforts to make work.

- It really is a weird tournament due to how many people are missing. No Tanahashi, Okada, Naito, Osperay, Cobb, Zack, Shingo or a bunch of other guys. You have to think the people stuck working this thing are probably pissed about not getting the vacation.

- All Japan's Real World Tag League has been a lot better so far.

The question I see more has to do with the dynamic between Ren and Evil.
