if this dummy wanted to draw for AEW, he should have done a short run in WWE first. This is Tony's biggest blunder because Tony won't be able to book him to draw in America. At least he got plenty of money to support his black stepson as long as he doesn't blow it on funko pops.

Japanese wrestlers can draw in America, they just can't draw right out of the gate with their selling point being 'he got 6 Meltzer stars in Japan'! because that is a very fucking small audience. The closest thing to an exception is Kenny, and they still at least kinda tried to make him a big deal when he came in. Jay was in AEW for like four or five fucking months before they actually decided to do something other than random heatless matches with him. All of the Jay/Miz "no balls" promo shitposts would have unironically been better then "wrestle Kommander then disappear for weeks"

Angles get wrestlers over in America. Why the fuck is that so hard for bookers to understand?
