Yes, that's exactly why. It's almost like this is 15 months after it was proven that there's no one cracking the whip to keep people in line and this is the result. Why should people care if the company is asleep at the wheel? All AEW really does is show that the dirt sheets and match reviewers are bullshit because if wrestling went to what they say is the highest quality then no one would care.
Side note: That's one thing I like about watching OSW. OOC has a more realistic idea of what's entertaining and he will like shows like WM9 where smarks hate them. It's almost like it's a vocal minority is exploiting a minority of the audience so that wrestlers will trust them because they "work the marks" like the boys. I swear, there's three ways to befriend wrestlers: Hate the marks, work the marks, or work out a lot.
