So FTR have been asked to be the masked team that Samoa Joe and MJF have to face via the Devil but turned down the offer, on the grounds that Tony admits that he doesn't know who the Devil is going to be. And more to the point, FTR have stated that they want nothing to do with Jack Perry, who Tony refuses to rule out as a possible reveal for the Devil.

Right now the plan is for the Young Bucks as the masked henchmen for the match but only the match. The Bucks are pissy that they've had their heel stable pitch rejected and their TV time decreasing. Tony's calling their bluff and having them work under hoods but has told them they won't be involved in the big reveal when it happens.

Warlow has offered to be "The Devil" but MJF has requested this not happened. MJF wants Adam Cole and Cole's willing to do it, but Tony's panicking because of Cole's injury and the fact that he'd have to delay the reveal until Cole's cleared to wrestle.

MJF's pitched a reunion between himself and Wardlow once Cole turns on him/outs himself as the Devil. Wardlow isn't that interested in having to wait; to keep him happy, Wardlow was included in the gaggle of masked men that attacked MJF last week (which BTW were Wardlow and a couple of other fill-in guys including Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Orange Cassidy). With Cassidy volunteering to wear a black hood as a lark since "it was the sort of thing we used to do in Chikara".

Finally, the reason Britt Baker has had her promo time cut and screen time cut, is that after Punk got fired, Britt basically cornered Tony Khan alone and read him the riot act over how firing Punk was stupid and said a bunch of shit that, had it been anyone else, would have gotten them fired. Britt has refused to apologize and Tony basically has decided to take it out on her by cutting her TV time in retaliation.
