I'm not sure why they are so interested in these runners. So far, none of those people have been big successes. I don't know what the mindset is behind it. Like, amateur wrestlers and football players are used to beatings. Gymnasts can do the flips and have strong cores. But running fast isn't exactly a core part of wrestling.

Difference is there are thousands of college athletes and they get new ones every 2-3 years as they get to that age. Indie scene ain't changing much in 2 years

Meltzer explained it. Its a wash with men, but college athletes are 100% the better investment for women in the US. Legitimate athletic women will always look 100x better than the marks cosplaying as wrestlers on the indy scene, and they simply aren't good enough wrestlers to compensate for the gap.
