I don't get the Jeff Hardy one. Does he lack self awareness? He was queued up for a big AEW tag title program with the Bucks but chose to get a DUI and was out of the picture for 7 months with legal troubles. Why on earth would he think Tony would have any trust after that?

I can't see Jeff getting a cozy backstage role with his alcohol and drug problems so maybe he's shitting himself about his future. What's funny is that Matt seen the Team Extreme thing had an impending expiration date way back in 2016 and made the Broken Hardy's gimmick so they could continue to draw well in to their 40s. They then go back to WWE and become Team Extreme again, and carry it in to AEW as well. Jeff lacks longterm planning
