You're probably right. I saw him getting off a plane at LaGuardia airport once in 2019. He was in regular street clothes (i.e. no lifts like in his wrestling boots). I'm only 5'10" and there was a huge height difference between us. I could practically see the top of his head.

All of these were all great wrestlers, jacked to shit & working for years in the midcard proving their worth.
Nobody ever said mid-carders can't be in the main-event & win the occasional title eventually.
A wrestling company cannot have a <6ft midcard talent as the face of the company. It cannot have a roster almost entirely comprised of <6ft wrestlers.
IT WILL NOT WORK, IT HAS NEVER WORKED.

The face of a company must be someone with a physical presence. It must be someone with natural charisma with their movements & on the microphone. They must be 'larger than life', ideally jacked to fuck & 6"3+.

OP literally said that though. If you consider "making it" becoming a face of the biggest company then only very few wrestlers ever made it. If a manlet reached and even brought through his ceiling, made millions and had a good mid card run in the top company then he sure as hell made it. Not everyone needs to be a main eventer and the wrestlers understand that, though these days there are shitters who think they are entitled to a main event spot.
AEW doesnt really compare to WWE or any other proper business in any field because it's a playground that doesnt need to make profit but I'd still consider becoming a top guy there making it too since they pay well

Jericho Eddie HBK were basically the same wrestler, but slightly stronger in one aspect. Eddie was the best all around but was alot smaller, Shawn was the best worker the worst promo, Jericho had the best promo / character work but was the weakest in-ring

He wasn't world champion material, he's a midcard act in the same fashion as Triple H. He can work with the top guys occasionally as a foil in a program and get hot once in awhile. But he's best in tag teams or working the IC title division
