>>12575487>That's like arguing a Benz dealer will drop their prices down to Hyundai levels. They have fixed costs, they can't just lower prices to whatever level it takes to get the sale.Already covered it. But with that logic, why don't local bands just rent massive 20k arenas even if only 1k fans show up? A few thousand bucks is better than "zero"....except when that doesn't cover your operating expenses. There's a reason investment properties often sit vacant instead of having tenants.
I'm not just here trying to fuck with people and make myself feel better. I give a shit about Wrestling, I want AEW to succeed, I want smaller/local feds to thrive, I want people to have YouTube and Twitch channels about Wrestling that make them a decent living. I want more non-worker jobs in Wrestling so maybe someone like me could get an industry career without selling my soul to the WWE machine. If you feel the same way, you've got to work with me here, brotherdude.
There's trolls everywhere - I'm not one of them. Bucks sitting at home is a bad sign. 3/4 empty arenas is a bad sign. The company just isn't growing - nothing is going viral, payroll keeps going up while all the measurables go down. That's untenable. If we want AEW to stick around, we have to fight for the good ideas and call out the bad ones, even if that means siding with both bad-faith E-drones and honest E-Chads once in a while.
