>>12580048There are four groups of fans:
>casualsThey will watch the show of choice when they can and go to shows when they come to town, but not religiously. Will be more involved if they have kids. They also know nothing outside that one show. Smackdown fans barely know the NXT guys, let alone AEW. AEW fans don’t know WWE guys. Neither know the Japanese or Mexicans. These make up the majority.
>hardcore fansNo bias, will just watch everything. Knows every major roster and even some of the indies. Thinks tribalism is retarded, understands that competition is healthy. Doesn’t care about drama, just wants entertainment.
>brand loyalists Paypigs who buy the merch and will try to go to every live PPV they can regardless of travel distance. A little tribalistic but only in the sense that they think their brand is the greatest thing ever and just assumes everything else is garbage without giving it a chance
>tribalistsActual cancer. Don’t talk about wrestling, only cares about ticket sales and TV numbers, hate-watches shows to find 3 second clips of a botch. Doesn’t actually go to any PPVs because they barely even watch the shows though religiously defend. Most likely to describe companies as “we/us” and “them”.
