>>12584236AEW has too many liabilities to sell at this point. Just among the top stars alone, there's probably $150,000,000 or more in guaranteed salary (Jericho, Danielson, Moxley, MJF, Bucks, Omega, Hangman, Cole, Christian, Edge, Jay White, Osprey, FTR all for 2-3+ years each).....even if you were OK with the dollars for a few of them, that's too many to bring back at once.
At this point, AEW has no choice but to plow forward and hope they can turn it around. The key is getting international TV/streaming deals, along with expanding their social media reach. WWE has over 27x more Twitter followers than AEW. How many people work for AEW who can tweet in Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, etc? Do they have people subtitling their programs in Russian, FusHa, German, French, or do they just air in other countries as-is?
This is the stuff they need to be focusing on - not signing the newest GCW shitter and doing the 57th lights-out reveal holding a cardboard tube "metal pipe". It's not my money to lose, but if AEW goes out of business, I can't keep doing this shit.....not when a viable game-plan is right fucking there and they continue to shit the bed.
