We can't make anything new anymore. Hollywood can't come up with original ideas. They just make remakes and sequels and prequels, mostly cheap nostalgia bait.
Everything has become soulless and derivative and LA Knight is kind of the perfect wrestler for the times in which we live. He's basically a Steve Austin/Rock coverband and people are so desperate for that feeling of nostalgia from the Attitude Era that he connects with a lot of the audience.
