I think someone in the slop shop popped a vertebra taking the powerbomb poorly and they "banned" the move about 3 or maybe 4 years ago by now.
Günther however is German so he can perform a powerbomb with safety and efficiency on his opponent so the broken back is guaranteed.
Herr Günterchen isn't the only one either. I'm sure Brock uses it once in a while, and other big guys use it but not on each other.
Thing is, banned or not, dangerous or not, the powerbomb became a transition move and that's just sad.
If you don't use a move as much, people react better when you do use it again and if it beats a guy, they won't cry havoc.
