Depends how close you are and how much the other fans are into it. I’ve been to a few mud shows with shoot 25 people crowds and they were very fun.

There is actually some truth in this. I get why smarks love the big "moments" that they can soiface about live. Those massive pops are actually pretty awesome in person. But yeah, especially seeing things like ladder matches live, it does look way more fake and choreographed without the editing covering up the mistakes.

I've only ever been to one show. It was shortly after ecw folded and all those wrestlers were there in the war memorial venue in ft Lauderdale. Shit looked so fake and horrible live. Crowd was hot and rowdy. I felt like a dweeb sitting there. On the plus side giant draft beers were just two bucks and I got shit hammered and joined the crowd chucking stuff into the ring at the end of the main event. Nailed dreamer or funk or someone (hard to recall) with my last beer. Then we went to see ang Lee's hulk movie in the theater and I passed out 5 mins into it. It was fun I guess

Only reason I went to that show is my buddy bought like 5 tickets and asked us to go. Was a better investment than that hulk movie I guess. And I got pretty drunk for less than 20 bucks

It depends on who you go with. I have a ton of fun doing stupid chants with my brother whenever we go but I went to a show by myself one time and was miserable.

The PPVs can be ass live because every second is timed for TV you cant get a piss break in unless you decide to skip a pre match video promo or something.

You can do that either at home with several friends invited over, or go to one of their homes.
Or you can go to a sports bar and watch with strangers.
Some of the best wrestling experiences I had were watching with strangers in a public place.
