Payback was hugely elevated by Becky/Trish and the tag team street fight. And even if the shows had some filler matches, they still weren't bad shows. They were good to great all year.

Best PLE-> WrestleMania, aside from cringe like Shane McMahon and Brock vs Omos, or the wrong decisions of Bianca going over Asuka and COPEland over Finn, it was an entertaining as fuck. The PPVs after were saddled with bad bookings.
Worst PLE-> Survivor Series
No men's World Championship matches, no tag team championship matches.

The main event WarGames match itself sucked, it was just the same tired Judgement Day vs Codybros that was booked for the like past 4 months of RAW with Drew and Randy inserted in.

Even the match itself was average, at no point did team JD felt dominant for the team Cody to need a 5th member

I'm gonna give it to Elimination Chamber, with special recognition to Backlash because of how fucking based that crowd was. Deadline was the best of NXT.

Tossup between Fastlane and Crown Jewel. I'm gonna say Fastlane just because there's atleast some sembalance of a spectacle with Crown Jewel even if both were basically house show tier.

If they were to continue calling them PPVs, it would be false advertising. You simply can't call up your PPV provider or use your set top box to order the next WWE PPV because they simply aren't there. They signed an exclusivity deal with Peacock.

I agree PLE sounds stupid, but there are legit legal reasons why they can't call them PPVs anymore.
