Be honest. How was his AEW run in terms of promos and in ring action for the times he was actually active? What can we expect in WWE?

He was actually pretty good until he hurt himself twice. Good matches and a few good programs, especially with MJF

some of his weekly matches were kinda mid but the big matches were always pretty good to great. promos were too shoot heavy which got boring after a while

honestly, I think a lot of his TV matches were absolutely anti dimes.

His first run was ok, he obviously couldn't keep up with some of the younger athletes but it was still watchable. When he came back for the second time he looked REALLY washed and appeared to be afraid of doing a lot of spots.

He botched constantly, got gassed constantly, got injured several times. His best match was with Kingston. When he could bleed, it was fine. Overall, it was wack and tainted the title. He absolutely could not keep up with Hangman but WWE's style is kinder and slower.

So the general consensus seems that he had a decent run for his age until he injured himself. Do you reckon he'll do well in his WWE run? I think a shootey feud with Seth could go over well, but I'm kinda worried for his in ring stuff and the fact that they seem to be putting it off bothers me.

It's pretty much just up to Punk and if he wants to do something too risky. but the wrestling in general will be fine.

he'll be fine not meant to be console war-ish at all but in WWE there's less of an emphasis on in ring stuff anyway so he won't be as inclined to do flippy shit or high risk stuff to fit in.

Give him total freedom to do what he wants during his promos so he can heat it up, he is nearly legend status thus his matches doesn't have to rely on hard spots to get over with the crowd.

I'm not even a big fan of him but he knows how to move inside the ring, how to pace a match and how psychology works, he can wonders it if the feud he is into is good.

His matches were good. 1 or 2 were great. They're underrated as a whole though, because AEW fags want flippy shit. His promos didn't really resonate with me because most of the people he was cutting promos on, I didnt care about and they didn't have an interesting enough history to make it entertaining

People are retarded that want him to have a match with some random shitter on Raw already. You can draw a singles match out until like February and make it a really big deal. Same as getting physical with Seth at all. Seth and him shouldn't even lay a hand on one another for months

Didn't he injure himself on his literal first appearance on AEW when he jumped into the crowd?

Punk's made of glass.
He's slow.
He's got a good grasp of psychology and storytelling, though.
He's capable of good matches but he needs the right guy in there with him.
Not sure if he's capable of GREAT matches though.
