It was always going to happen to the bucks. They didn't found anything. Omega wasn't even one of the easiest signings. Cody had the idea to do All In, the Bucks were just tag alongs. They haven't contributed anything to the company besides getting their friends jobs doing things they don't know how to do.

It's not just them. The Bucks have only ever worked programs built around who their friends are, which is powerfully cringe. Any other "feud" they have had was random matches and nothing in between.
But almost every aew angle ever has been about friendship. Outside of the Codyverse shit and Punk I can't think of a single angle that wasn't either random bullshit or friendship.

I just don’t think their talents translate well to a mainstream audience. They’re stars in indy companies where you only see them once a month, they’re stars in New Japan where, again, you see them sporadically, but they don’t translate well when asked to carry a program week to week. They can’t cut a promo for longer than two minutes, they can’t have a feud that doesn’t revolve around “we are/were friends” or isn’t a shitty flippy feud, and they’ve proven they don’t really have a creative mind for the business on a national level.

Meanwhile Kenny’s close to retiring after this contract ends so he’s just getting paid before he fucks off to play Mega Man for the rest of his life.

The bucks weren't even liked in Japan.
Omega was over by virtue of his DDT run and history as a jr wrestling Devitt who was mega over. Kenny was the token gaining but he wasn't all that popular himself. He didn't make any sort of difference coming back to DDT or NJPW, where other western talent often have some amount of drawing power.
