I don’t think that’s true. Taka just isn’t that famous. Mpro had at best a cult following. Kai n tai dojo draws like 300 people and rarely does shows. And he never really had a break out run while freelancing.
I don’t know how popular wwe is in Japan but you got to be a real sicko to have access to all the great Japanese wrestling and choose to watch wwe.
