I dunno, I started watching wrestling as a little jimmy a but before WM27, and after a long time out of wrestling I came back like 2 yrs ago, I've tried watching Bret Hart's shit but it feels too old school, a solid 6.5/10 for me
I've also tried watching "the greatest matches ever" okada vs omega, overall 7/10 for the matches, can't give less, can't give more

Don't watch the ironman match with michaels or his cage match with owen. Those are definitely overrated and haven't aged well.
A good start point for Bret is his tv match with 123 kid

Not really. His best promos were only ever as a heel, and not even all time. Outside of his Austin feud, his good promos were few and far between.
And that's what matters, by the way. Bret is easy to overrate in hindsight because his ringwork was impeccable, causing most of his matches to hold up well in a vaccum. But he wasn't talking anyone into his matches, so his programs never had that much heat.
