>>12658203We'll have to agree to disagree there. Human body is not like a phone battery that works best being completely drained before being recharged - instead of constantly going from 100-80 and back again
As with the workout example, you're not getting beat down unless and until you pass the lactate threshold - and how long past that point matters wrt burning out CNS, glycogen, etc. A skinny fuckhead doing machine sets of 15 isn't doing shit to his CNS; the guy with 8 minute rest 3-rep sets of 90% 1RM for 3 hours is absolutely frying his
Working regularly affords you a level of protection. What gets you banged up is moves you aren't as familiar and comfortable taking, bad communication or timing, etc. Nobody in their right mind believes 1.6 matches per week is ideal but 1.9 is just far too much. That's stupid
Kenny is on the shelf right now because he's a self-mark and believes the Meltzer/Smark hype about himself. He doesn't have the humility to stand on the apron for 70% of a 12-minute long 8-man match on Rampage. He's KENNY BY-GOD OMEGA, for fucks sake. And look where that led him to. But also doesn't have the (ironically) humility to wrestle Lee Johnson or Action Andretti for only 7 minutes. It HAS TO BE 12-15, it HAS TO HAVE a jump to the outside (or three), his opponent HAS TO HIT all 15 moves in his repertoire, it HAS TO BE a showcase match and star-making performance. That's why he's constantly hurt
The fans in the building want to see all the stars as often as possible, and AEW does a piss-poor job giving it to them. Swerve has 37 matches this year, fucking HOW? That guy needs to be in an AEW ring 6 times a month, minimum. Get him with Brian Cage, you have a way to not only get him on TV more, but also have him challenge MJF to a match for the tag titles (and THEN world title)
You want to know why AEW isn't growing? Too many jobbers being treated as mid-carders, and too many top stars working like they're 48 year old WWE no-house-show part-timers
