Saying "The WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Championship/Title" is too much of a mouthful. It merged with the WWE title which has all the history and prestige so it makes sense to just call it that.

It's been long in the works now that once Roman loses the title it will be named back into the WWE Championship while the Universal Championship will be dropped/retired, thus making Roman the "final" Universal Champion. Which makes me wonder, why retire the Universal Championship when you can just force transfer it to Raw and unify with the current WHC to have some resemblance of lineage and not some hastened up world title?

Or they could have just had him drop the WWE title beforehand in a multi-man match or just not unified the belts at all. Every single time they unify the betls, they end up having to either create or re-introduce a new world championship.
