Legalizing it means that if you get caught doing stupid shit while using it you won't get charges for having it, but you will get any other charges, like a DUI, especially if you're driving like a fucking retard swerving all over the road. I have lived all my life in Florida, and to be honest, cops down here don't give a fuck about no fucking weed unless you're out there doing dumb shit and acting like a complete deranged nigger when you get caught with it.
If you are just minding your own business walking down the road smoking a joint, acting like a civilized person and not near a school, a place where there's a "No Smoking" sign posted or government building, the most the cop will do is say to put that shit out, and that's only if he's trying to be a dick, because most of them don't give a fuck, they got bigger fish to fry.
