Kings road can never truly end, it's not specifically a wrestling thing, it's a whole concept in Japanese and the term should 90% of the time be translated to "going back to the fundamentals"

Fair point. Let me ask a simpler questions. Why are modern AJPW and NOAH matches so slow compared to 80's and 90's AJPW? Why can't anybody sell anymore? Why are they booking 30 minute matches with barely 10 minutes of action in them?

Misawa's death probably impacted how the style is perceived nowadays. Sure you're going to have outliers willing to follow its path but it's usually discouraged. Maybe that's the answer you're looking for.

In all honesty I'm excited for All In 04, I know the turnstile hoaxers gaslit everyone but I think we have a chance to break the record again and likely have more stringent ways of recording it this time. Next week is looking good and some nice signings I've heard murmuring of. Just wish some could be more chill and not lash out so much but I know every fan base is different and we can just do us. Just gotta grin and shrug about it I wont even bother with smarks from indies.
