Insider here, The Young Bucks have been ghosting Tony for a while since Punk debuted on WWE at Survivor Series, they convinced Tony for weeks that Punk wouldn't be able to get a WWE a contract after his "reputation was in the shitter" and that firing him was the best choice with everything that happened inside AEW, Tony was convinced to fire Punk with enough "advice" from Bryan Danielson and The Bucks, however the surprise of Punk's return made Tony question how much he can actually trust them or their word within the Wrestling industry, he has been trying to call a meeting with them to discuss the poor management of the entire situation considering they're still EVP's, Kenny Omega is soon to retire so Tony is entirely alone at the time handling AEW with no actual Elite members around.
