long story short, i believe the psycology behind it is, one or a few incels wasted their life pushing this gay fanfic, so to give up after 5 years for free daily, would kind of be an admission of defeat, even though they seem oblivous they lose everyday they do it by wasting their life on it
i also think strong possibility that they have mental illness like austism or something similar
