I was thinking the other day how strange it was with the short attention span of the modern populace how long title reigns are now, as I remember in the attitude era 3-6 months was considered a "long" reign.

Rock/Austin trilogy flipped around. Rock was a heel the first time and Austin turned heel to win the second time. Rock was back to heel for the third but still won. Roman will still be heel, Cody will still be face and the story is the same as WM39. They could definitely do a third match to wrap things up years later but the main issue is that Cody won't survive another loss. Either keep him out of the Roman match or have him win.

Is it going to count? His 1200+ day reign is with the Universal Title, not the WWE title. Yes, I know they are unified; but they are still referring to it as the Undisputed Universal Title.

yeah, I've been watching '98-2000 era wwe and they had a bunch of people in the mix; hhh, rock, austin, big show, kane, undertaker, bossman, foley, bulldog, jericho, shamrock, angle.
5 established top guys that held the belt and you could believe were capable of winning, plus a dozen or so guys that were believable challengers.

right now were getting there in the fed so that's cool.
