My vote goes to Tony Khan advertising that Jon Moxley was going to be on the card for the Dynamite that was going head to head with NXT eventhough he knew full well that he was no where near fully recovered and only did it to get people to tune in.

It should but people seethe over injury angles now because people don't want to get engrossed in stories or risk being worked by the show they'd rather fixate on REAL LIFE BEHIND THE SCENES

Imagine if this approach was taken to literally any other TV show, people wanting the plotline of a series to change because an actor is nice behind the scenes or whatever. Every time real TV reacts to that sort of stuff it becomes dimeless shit yet smarks fixate on it

The only part of this one that's different is that Ridge is the one who injured Ilja, after in real life he broke Big E's neck, and he'll probably never wrestle again. It's shocking to me that they'd want to remind people of that. It's different from a normal injury angle.
