I'm going to my first ever WWE event next wednesday. It's a house show though, so what should I expect?

House shows are the best way to watch wrestling in person. No commercial breaks and a more tailored experience for the crowd vs. being focused on angle development on the TV shows.

The house shows are the most fun. Cheapest way to see things up close. They are more casual and wrestlers can do goofy shit they won't do on TV. I'm going to Mania this year and expecting a shitshow and not being able to see anything.

I haven't been to a house show since 2008 but it was great. Wrestlers let their hair down and their real personalities shine through. My favorite was CM Punk's entrance where instead of yelling "It's clobberin' time," he shouted "I hate niggers!" It was boss.

Never been to a house show but I've been to several RAW/Sunday Nigh Heat shows and one PPV which was Unforgiven 2005.

You can expect it to be loud. With drunk people everywhere as they serve beer at the events at least they do in Oklahoma.

I nearly got into a fist fight at Unforgiven because the guy behind me was pissed that I was standing up and he couldn't see around me. But I was standing because most of the crowd was standing.

I got to see that classic Edge vs Matt Hardy in a cage match though. And Angle vs Cena was fun too.

Good matches, no real time limits. I went to one years ago and Finn Balor and Wade Barrett had a hell of a match. I wasn't a fan of either before
