Great call, excellent call. I remember Drew beat Brock and Braun beat Goldberg at PandemicMania but I didn't pay attention to WWE after that until Cody Rhodes came back. So the Miz beat Drew and then Lashley beat him? I just remember Roman Reigns having the SmackDown title, Brock Lesnar getting the Raw title, and then Roman having both after WM38. Then after a year after, they merged both titles into a Persian looking thing and made a fake belt for Raw.

Big E was booked during genuinely one of WWE's worst periods, which was 2021. They just fed the guy to Roman to kill all his credibility and that was that. He didn't even win the title on a PPV, they had him do it on RAW to try and pop a rating.

They booked themselves into a corner when they made MITB that year have a joke finish where Otis won it. So they had Miz win MITB from Otis and had to cash it in somehow to get rid of it so they did it to further play into the Bobbo/Drew feud. It wasn't bad and made for a good RAW or two with Miz doing his best to dodge Bobby. I wouldn't watch any of it back but I remember it being kind of a fun time in an otherwise very dry period.
