The really frustrating thing about the console war is that AEW isn't consistent but WWE sucks. So AEW has to be perfect because they cater to the most nitpicky fans on the planet but WWE is for goofies so it is allowed to suck with impunity.

AEW has been mostly bad for over 2 years. You could have made the argument for inconsistency in 2021 but now you just straight up in denial to think otherwise

I like both AEW and WWE but there are better promotions out there. Expand your wrestling viewing.

Lucha is crazy right now. AAS and CMLL are on fire and the shows are wild.

TNA is on the rise and is rebuilding itself. I don't know if it will ever be the number 2 promotion again but it's got a good roster right now and is pretty fun.

NWA is trying to capture the spirit of the classic 70's era power house wrestling style while incorporating a bit of edgy attitude era type stuff. You can tell Billy Corgan loves classic wrestling. I respect what he's doing.

MLW has Jacob Fatu who is the hottest star in the indie world. He's a 300 lb samoan capable of doing cruiser weight moves.

Then there is GCW to get your hardcore fix GCW feels like a new ECW and is currently the biggest indie promotion with the hottest talent.

I agree with your point about AEW because it's fanbase was built but disenfranchised WWE fans, so most of them are marks. I'm not sure how HHH's WWE is for children though. They have WAY less comedy angles then they did under Vince. I won't say there are none but it has been reduced by a significant margin.
