>The Raw rights renewals and the AEW rights renewals, and how they may potentially affect each other, will end up being likely the most important pro wrestling news stories of the next year, and their effects will greatly impact the face of the industry for the latter half of this decade. >The key to the story is that talks with WWE and WBD for Raw that appeared to be dormant two months ago, have picked up steam. While there are multiple suitors for Raw, WBD is the most interesting one because such a deal would change the face of wrestling, and be disastrous to AEW. >From the start, analysts have believed NBCU (USA), Disney (FX), Amazon Prime and WBD were all potential suitors for the show that starts its 32nd year in a few weeks. WBD, due to its affiliation with AEW, was always considered a longshot and the word going around was that WBD had turned down Raw as of October. >The CM Punk signing looks to have opened doors up since Endeavor's Mark Shapiro along with Nick Khan and Paul Levesque had a meeting with WBD this past week. The rest is currently paywalled. Thoughts?

Looks like it's over for AEW. Maybe they can get Dynamite on Hallmark. Is AXS still a channel that exists?
Fair-minded Anon !15tVOT4mb.
Dave is hinting at massive success for WWE and doom for AEW but many of his customers are still AEW superfans so he will not switch completely over despite favoring HHH for NXT and the access he gets to WWE info and the fact HHH let's him on media calls, etc. The overall drama of this situation guarantees clicks so he is going to milk it regardless.

>>12715385 >Dave is hinting at massive success for WWE and doom for AEW Worth bearing in mind that he sometimes makes things sound potentially worse for AEW so when it isn't, it appears as a win for them. Like a form of pre-damage control
