>>12724907>lol fuck outta here, the first Dynamite with Phil on it had multiple QTV matchesThat's because from what I remember the first Dynamite and Rampage were basically al about Phil. He had like a 20 min promo there. It was a big deal.
>Do you think Nitro was the only WCW show before Thunder? If you mean Saturday Night, that was basically the equivalent of AEW Dark. Not really a show to advance storylines that you need to keep track off, just there to showcase new talent and have them practice.
>Explain how current AEW is tonally inconsistent with 2019-2020Ok, that's easy. I'll give you some examples. Toni Storm's character is peak sports entertainment WWE shit that you would have never seen in early AEW. Christian's storyline with Nick Wayne's mom and how Nick has to explain himself to his mom on live tv is peak WWE stupidity. MJF's whole shenanigans and reign. Back in the day the stupidity was mostly self-contained. Yeah, i cringed at OC, but at least everbody no-sold it for the most part. Now I'm supposed to take Toni's retarded Marilyn Monroe character seriously.
>Been in the same range for the last 4 years kekCome on buddy, they were doing 1 million semi-regularly and 900k+ almost always. Now they are in the range of 800k and often falling into the 700k WITHOUT any competition. Usually back in the day when it was doing 800k+ it was always going head to head against NXT. They've lost a lot of viewers from their initial days even without discounting the Punk shit.
>>12724930I even said in my original post that AEW had a lot of problems, but at least the good outweigh the bad. Now it's just WWE sports entertainment that's NOT as bad, but it's sports entertainment nevertheless. What part of that is hard to understand? Just because it's not dogshit like the other show and interesting things like Swerve/Hangman still happen doesn't make it good overall.
