Half of the equipment and weapons I find are locked behind stupid stat requirements. I just upgraded my katana like 5 times and I swear its barely a difference. I went and found the sword of night and flame only to find out I had to gain like 40 levels just to be able to use it. Grinding is tedious and feels like a slog. Somehow I'm still having random grunt enemies randomly one shot kill me even though I'm level 40.

Most demoralizing part has been doing the dragon rune farm trick. Putting like 20 points into intelligence. Thinking that I'd probably be able to wreck lower level enemies with magic, and then it not really being much of a difference at all and I STILL need over 20 levels just to use the stupid sword.
