Although every so often, I get to talk honestly about AEW with other AEW fans who also get frustrated with the inconsistent pace of stories and the stuff that gets introduced or hinted at but then dropped completely. It actually helps me realize why Vince McMahon didn't listen to us for years. In WWE, he pushed the New Day with their new face gimmick really hard at first and when it was obvious that it could not get over with the audience, he let them salvage it and made money. In AEW, they'd get heckled twice and immediately broken up and/or regulated to ROH. It sucks because I feel like I want to watch the same kind of wrestling as Tony Khan but it's run like ROH circa 2006(the matches alone are the draw, watch our YouTube videos if you want the stories because the DVDs won't be out by the next show.) Instead of booking shows with matches and making stories that fit them, why not plan out stories like that and book matches that fit them? With people like Jimmy Jacobs and Sonjay Dutt helping him come up with shows, it should not be that backwards.
Yes, most people who respond to stuff like that either tell me I cut my dick off or that I'm a stupid edrone but every so often, someone else feels my pain of one who loves the wrestling but doesn't love the rest so much. That's why I come here.
