Don't think so. They really love to put their gay Mason shit in whatever they can. Hell, I don't even believe the official stories for how some of the brothers died. Wouldn't be surprised if this movie is just to push a certain narrative and they left their stamp on it

Zac Efron should at the very least be nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for this. He won’t win, since our boy Brendan Frazier won last year which means a cisgender white man wont be allowed to win again for the remainder of this decade. But he deserves a nomination. The lady from ER who played their mom should get a supporting actress nom as well. All in all it was a great movie. But I agree the Flair actor was awful, and I found it odd that they never committed one way or another on kayfabe. At some points it was all a work and then late me in the movie Fritz and Kerry are genuinely upset at Kevin for losing his match.
