I'm not an AEW fan and haven't watched Dynamite in at least a month, but a huge reason why it's obviously better than WWE is because WWE is so fucking awful at storytelling. Everybody praises the Bloodline as "pure cinema" but think back to the 3 month period between the rumble and Mania at the beginning of this year.
>Cody and Roman meet twice before their final match and deliver boring lackluster promos (I was groomed y'all)
>Sami and Owens are doing the exact fucking same angle at the end of every fucking episode where they tease hugging but drag it on for months
>Jey is going through the most bland, predictable "Will he turn?" angle ever
The only thing WWE is good at are the big moments like Sami turning on Roman and Solo spiking Cody, which is why the PPV's are usually really good while the TV shows are unwatchable. AEW on the other hand is way more consistent and fast-paced with their stories and don't repetitively drag every fucking angle for like 6 months.
