I'm at the movies to see The Iron Claw and from what I can attest is that it can't draw for shit. The selective seating screen only showed two taken seats aside from mine and I'm the only one in the theater for the preshow. Is wrestling really not that popular?

Just got back from the movie, a solid 8/10. Best aspect was the set design and how the family dynamic was written. My only criticisms are that the Ric Flair sucked hard and the kids spelling out the "it's okay to cry, everyone cries" thing was too sappy for me. The theater only got a few people, at least it seemed they had the common decency to shower and wear a fresh pair of clothes because the place didn't reek when the credits started to roll. Also lol at MJF only getting two seconds of screentime in a cameo I missed initially until I realized it was him when I ran it back in my head.

Dunno, honestly it might've just come down to all the other producers wanting to slim the brothers down to get better pacing. For instance Mike is pretty much portrayed as the Chris von Erich of the film, a.k.a. the weak one. But unlike Chris, Mike had other aspirations in music while Chris wanted to be in the ring with his brothers but I guess the producers thought they were too similar and ultimately went with Mike.
