Crowds do not cheer anymore. Maybe they cheer for the top 6 guys in the fed at a time, but they do not cheer for midcarders. There will never be moments made by the crowd again in the midcard, modern fans care more about catchy melodies and catchphrases rather than actually just fucking cheering.
Crowd noise has to be fucking edited in. You see people looking at their phones during matches. I wonder how many thousands of people spend for front row tickets but they don't make noise unless it's for a meme chant. White people have been declining in the past decade or so. From kissing black people's feet (literally and metaphorically), to transitioning, to going on random shooting sprees, to not being able to get laid. White people are plaguing the wrestling business with their disease, a soul rot that corrupts things around them. Look at NXT's crowds, extremely cheerfu when they have black people in it. You usually see the deadeyed cheering in Chase U white people, the contrast is surreal between droning cheering and genuinely having a good time.
