Why did he join the nWo and kill his career after they made him look like a bitch and stole his wife for months? After his feud with DDP he might as well have vanished from wrestling completely.

He had his best matches there while in the NWO. Before that he was shit. His dynamic friend/foe relationship with Hogan was great in the NWO.

Despite having legit HEAT with Hogan, Hogan knew Savage was a professional and that he could trust Randy in the ring and not go into business for himself. Savage had mass respect in the locker room while there.

He didn't turn to shit until he left the NWO.

I think outside of the big 3, he's probably the best member. His feud with DDP basically carried the NWO for months while Hogan was off TV or doing Leno shit. Remember the "Year Build" for Sting vs Hogan wasn't always on TV and it wasn't until like Summer of 97 that it started to heat up.

Nah, Savage lost at Halloween Havoc 96, disappeared and then botched a save for Hogan against Piper at Starrcade 96. The Wolfpack split didn't happen until February 98.
