>Kazusada Higuchimy WOTY for 2022 for his KO-D title reign alone. Ex-sumo hoss with an amazing monster presence. Everything he does looks amazing. If you like WALTER/Gunther you'll love this dude.
>Astronauts (Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura)My 2023 WOTY candidates. Hyper energetic junior heavyweight tag team from BJW who always deliver a mix of technical grappling and pure shit-beating. They'll wrestle in front of 100 people some nights and never hold back.
>Daisuke SekimotoThe longtime face of the BJW Strong Division (the non-deathmatch stuff) and still carrying that division on his back. Built like a Steiner brother and still kills it in both singles and tags today.
>Yuji OkabayashiAnother great powerhouse heavyweight from BJW. Very charismatic. Went into semi-retirement this year, sadly. Had an amazing tag team run with Daisuke Sekimoto and a brief one with HARASHIMA.
>Jun KasaiDeathmatch legend and one of the few wrestlers left that has an old school carnival freak aura. I'm not a huge fan of modern deathmatches on the whole but his 2022 match with Despy was a personal MOTY contender and all his work in FREEDOMS is usually appointment viewing for me.
