Watching his FF3 video right now and I got to say I really like it. I remember little jimmy me becoming friends with the biggest nerd in school because he had a copy of FF3 and I had played 1 on the NES and 2 on the SNES. He loaned me the game for a week as long as I didn't save over his slot and then I gave it back to him. It became a thing were he would have the game for a week, and I would have the game for a week. We would pass it back and for talking about all the things we had discovered in game. When we got to high school some kids started bullying him really hard but I never forgot how much fun we had so I talked to some of the other guys on the football team and they agreed to look out for him. We convinced him to become the manager for the football team and come to practice and games with us. He ended up becoming a kind of mascot for all the jocks in school and would help people study if their grades started falling behind and they were looking like they would be dropped from the team. He ended up dating the younger sister of one of the guys on the football team, was one of the few guys from our school to go to college, became a doctor, and eventually moved back home to start a practice as a general practitioner. 23 years later he is one of the most respected men in our town and I am proud to call him my best friend and, God willing, the father in law to my son since our kids are dating.
And it all started because of a stupid chink video game.
