Literally what pay off can there be to this angle that will be worth it? They already announced that Will Ospreay is signed so it can't be him, so it's either Cole, MJF himself, Jack Perry or Tony Khan.

The only option that would make sense is The Devil being Tony. He's allowed all the weird shit to happen, like masked guys challenging for the ROH belts (and MJF keeping the ROH tag belts so long in general). But of course Tony is a terrible actor so the angle would flop hard

He'll come in and send MJF packing out of the company to establish himself as the new big bad of AEW. And the slow build to Orange Cassidy's coronation will begin as far as Avery being build up as the new arch villain of the company in time for Wembley and Orange becoming champion.

I'm done trying to act like I'm not supposed to be mesmerized by wrestling.
The world sucks
Everything sucks

But I am actually enjoying this Devil in the Mask storyline.
It brings me back to the campy days of WCW.
I don't want realism. I don't need some neckbeards on youtube or the dirtsheets telling me what to like or what petty drama they need to stir up to stay relevant.
I just want to immerse myself in the show and forget responsibility for a little while.
