Umaga looked like he legit wanted to kill people doing it. It was literally some rock fuck caveman who figured out poking someone in the throat with his thumb would make them stop breathing. People sold it well because it seemed convincing.
The guy doing it now sucks. He does not have any facial animation, his body language makes it seem like just another move and people sell it more like they got knocked out than jammed in the throat. It's a perfect example of the wrestler doing the move meaning way more than the move itself
