nobody remembers or cares about this match besides smarks on wrestling forums. to everybody else it was just another random goldberg match on nitro and they forgot about it as soon as it ended. not a single casual fan from the 90s remembers goldberg wrestling william regal. and goldberg looked fine in the match, he did some good counters. nobody cared or noticed

The only reason why anyone does talk about this match at all is because of the amount of bitching Goldberg has done about it. The match is nothing. Sure, Regal lays it in a little stiff at times, but he does it in all the safe ways that don't do any damage. So why bitchberg still seethes about 2 and half fucking decades later is anyone's guess.
