>>12768064Literally. WWE knows their model can't sustain wrestling kino so they have their flying monkeys give the "muh storylines" marching orders that their piggies follow in lockstep. But now they're waking up to the fact that WWE storylines only have satisfying conclusions like once a year if that. So WWE will just keep you frustrated until WrestleMania and then they shake the Etch A Sketch and spin their wheels for a year.
If anything, AEW needs to shorten their storylines. This is week 13 of the Devil storyline and it should have been wrapped up in 6 tops. If stories are kept tighter and lead to matches instead of matches leading to stories that go on for 6 months, I really think more fans would be receptive to AEW. We can chalk 2023 up as a failed experiment and go back to the 2020-21 booking.
