It has been proven time and time again that tournaments don't draw in North American wrestling. From the Wrestling Classic to WM4 to Survivor Series '98 and King of the Ring on a whole which didn't even last a decade as it's own show. Which is funny because Survivor Series '98 is the best show Vince Russo ever booked and we all remember it fondly.

I didn't watch the Continental Classic, but I like the concept. MJF still having the title proves that AEW isn't magically better, but there's a much stronger chance that I'll try it out today than there was say six months ago.

Yeah, it was really good. I liked the consistent theme of "I want to win because I am a highly motivated individual and I love wrestling at a high level." That's enough to carry boxing and MMA, why does wrestling need fucking wives and petty vandalism?
