During his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff was quite blunt in his take on AEW. He said that, apart from the fact that Tony Khan produces matches in front of live fans and not a sound stage, they are pretty much the same as TNA Wrestling.>“AEW has made a commitment to producing shows in front of live audiences, that’s becoming more of a challenge as time goes on. That being said, they’re not producing their show on a sound stage… other than that, they’re just like TNA. Over-hyped, under-deliver, tons of former WWE talent who cycled out of the system and established predominantly in the TNA product of AEW. The only different, to his credit, is that Tony has committed to continuing putting on a show in front of a live crowd."
