Pretty good for someone who's like 40. If he were younger, it'd be worth tossing him into a world championship at some point, but WWE for the first time in awhile has more star power than it can handle. We're past the point where there was no difference between the main and mid card.

This however is a case of talent being wasted due to bad booking. Nothing has happened with The Bloodline since Jimmy rejoined. It seemed like they were going to do a "hmm are you really back in the group" thing for a while but that apparently got dropped too. Now all four of them seem to just be spinning their wheels. No one even seems to remember Solo's win over Cena.

HHH has no idea what he's doing booking wise. He's had all the talent and momentum in the world to work with and now he's had to resort to bringing punk back to pop the ratings.

Not only was Zayne hot but so was the blood line. Kevin owens felt strong too. Cody's story felt fresh. Judgement day wasn't extremely over exposed. We didn't have to endure a super Seth title reign. So many other examples of him shitting the bed at every stop.

Sami is the undisputed top talent in the company.
And although he did it himself, last year, he cant do it himself forever, nor without WWE putting him into some kind of story line, nevermind actively holding him back

It's the same old problem
- Creative is completely incompetent when it comes to story line writing and character development
- the only guys who get truly over have to be talented enough to get Themselves over despite WWE being an anchor (meaning Cody, Seth, Drew, etc don't have a chance in hell of breaking through that glass ceiling)
- WWE holds back talent if they don't think they're good looking enough

Combine these 3 issues and you have a recurring problem

Promo, charisma, heel and face work, mind for the business, in ring competence - knowledge - psychology, moveset knowledge and ability to wrestle different styles, being able to call a 5 mins match and a 1 hour match.. athleticism and smoothness?

Sami is the best in WWE, and no one else is close.
In the last decade you have
1. Sami and Bryan
3. Joe
Gap
4. Maybe KO and Mox, and Kenny.

No one combines elite in ring and on the mic skills.

Right now he's just a dude who's there and honestly giving him even a short main title reign would be good to capitalize on the overness at that time, but WWE seems to want to break all the existing records of the past to erase the history of many wrestlers

Fair points. Bryan, Sami, and Joe are the only ones I can remember who have gotten themselves over organically, besides maybe AJ Styles and Punk (one mediocre on the mic one mediocre in the ring, but overly talented in the other department).
Sadly, people think that Cody or Drew have this level of talent and have the ability to get themselves over. That's a big gap in understanding.

Horse shit aside Sami is probably number 1 on the mic AND in the ring.

Punk is good on the mic at doing monologues, but Sami carrying Lesnar to his longest and best promo of his career was wild, and can do wild monologues, and carry a promo with 5 people in the ring.
Guys like ricochet and gable don't have the style experience, nor would be trusted to carry 5 guys from Jackass to a 20 minute match at Mania.
Sami also has outrageous functional strength, was having awesome matches with likes of Kenny Omega before WWE, and put on great epics in NXT.
Gunther is close, maybe.
Nakamura and AJ havent done it in quite a while.

None of those guys is in the same universe as any of the elite talent in the 2 major categories.
Maybe KO and Bayley on the mic.

On the mic - Sami, Joe, Punk, MJF, Mox, Cena.
In the ring - Sami, Bryan, Kenny.

Maybe someone like Swerve will reach these levels if he gets his promo down.

These talents are a slight step down from Moxely.

They don't have anything truly exceptional about them, and thus can Not get truly over without creatives help.

Elite talents are rare.
There's only a few in WWE, now that punk is back.

On the mic he's an 85, in the ring he's an 86.

MJF I have trouble with. For now Id give him a 92 on the mic, 89 in the ring.

Well we wouldn't know that, that's the entire point.

WWE doesn't push Talent based off talent.
Thus they have never "gotten behind" the top talent in the company, the way they invested 10 years of brain wash into Reigns.
We didn't see it with Bryan, we didn't see it with Sami. We saw talent shining through story tellers who were keeping those talents back and actively depushing them

We do know that Sami became the hottest thing in the business, by his own doing While he was booked to be a joke character.
